The Annual Croatian Tourism Awards are a joint project of the Ministry of Tourism and Sport, the Croatian National Tourist Board and the Croatian Chamber of Economy. They are intended to recognise excellence, innovation and sustainable development in Croatian tourism and to improve the quality of tourism products, services and destinations.
All the participants in the tourism sector are eligible and the awards provide an opportunity to highlight good practices, professional achievements and innovative solutions. Special attention is paid to people whose dedication, passion and expertise shape and improve tourism. The awards include various categories that cover all the aspects of the tourism offer, from destinations and accommodation to gastronomy, events and promotional activities, emphasising the importance of sustainability and high quality in all aspects. The awards encourage competitiveness, inspire the development of new initiatives and promote Croatia as a recognisable and high-quality tourist destination. Traditionally, they are awarded at the largest tourism event in the country, the Croatian Tourism Days.
